50th Anniversary of the first successful Kidney Transplant in Australia

The Central and Northern Adelaide Renal and Transplantation Service, home of the Centre for Clinical and Experimental Transplantation, recently celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the first kidney transplant in South Australia and the first successful kidney transplant in Australia.

CCET Honours Student, medical student Peter Rose, has won the Mark Wainwright Prize for Nanomedicine Research - Best presentation in student category.

CCET presentations at TSANZ 2013

Members of the Centre for Clinical and Experimental Transplantation team have returned from the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Transplantation Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ)  2013, held at the Australian National University in Canberra. 

From the point of view of CNARTS it was a very successful meeting with many of our researchers receiving prizes and awards.
